TERMS AND CONDITIONS - MADE TO ORDER ITEMS

All AMALUMA Studio products are individually handmade to order, reflecting our commitment to slow fashion and sustainable craftsmanship.

Production Time

Each item is made with care after your order is placed. Please allow 1 to 3 weeks (business days) for production before shipping.

National Delivery (Germany)

We ship throughout Germany. Shipping times vary depending on your location and carrier.
Please note: In accordance with § 312g (2) No. 1 BGB, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. Therefore, returns or cancellations are not possible once production has begun.

If you need your item sooner, please contact us before placing your order at amaluma.studio@gmail.com – we’ll do our best to accommodate your timeline.

EU Delivery

We offer delivery across the European Union. Production time remains the same (1 to 3 weeks), followed by standard shipping durations based on the destination country. Under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, made-to-order items are exempt from the right of withdrawal, as they are produced specifically for the customer. For urgent requests or delivery inquiries, please get in touch with us at amaluma.studio@gmail.com before placing your order.

For selected AMALUMA Studio items that are not made to order, the following conditions apply:

Delivery Time

Items in stock are shipped within 7 business days after the order is confirmed. Shipping times may vary depending on your location and selected delivery method.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

RETURNS AND WITHDRAWAL - MADE TO ORDER ITEMS

In accordance with § 312g (2) No. 1 BGB, all made-to-order and personalized items are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal. All AMALUMA Studio pieces are handmade specifically for each customer after the order is placed. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we offer the following voluntary withdrawal option:

  • You may withdraw your order within 4 business days after purchase by contacting us at amaluma.studio@gmail.com, provided production has not yet started.

  • If production has already started at the time of withdrawal, we will retain 20% of the total order amount to cover material and preparation costs. The remaining amount will be refunded to your original payment method.

After this 4-day period, or once production is fully underway, cancellations and returns are no longer possible unless the product is defective or delivered in error. This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights in the case of defective goods, and is intended to balance fairness with the handmade nature of our products.

RETURNS AND WITHDRAWAL - READY TO SHIP ITEMS

For ready-to-ship items (not made to order), you have the statutory right of withdrawal under German consumer protection law.Right of Withdrawal – § 355 BGB As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you receive the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us at: amaluma.studio@gmail.com by means of a clear statement (e.g., email) of your decision to withdraw from the contract. You may use a withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

Return Conditions

  • The item must be returned unused and in its original condition and packaging.

  • You must return the goods within 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.

  • You will bear the cost of return shipping, unless the item was defective or incorrect.

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will refund all eligible payments within 14 days, using the same payment method used for the purchase.

We reserve the right to reduce the refund if the value of the item has been diminished due to use beyond what is necessary to check its condition. This return policy applies only to ready-to-ship items and does not apply to made-to-order or personalized items.

WORKSHOPS CANCELATION AND REFUNDS

Workshop bookings are non-refundable, but we understand that plans can change. We offer the following cancellation policy:

  • If you notify us at least 72 hours before the scheduled workshop, you will receive a voucher for the full amount paid, which can be used on our website for future workshops or products.

  • If you cancel less than 72 hours before the workshop, or do not attend, no refund or voucher will be issued.

To cancel, please email us at amaluma.studio@gmail.com with your booking details. This policy helps us manage materials, preparation, and limited spots fairly for all participants.
